Introducing Aspire Memory Care
Aspire Memory Care is Elm Terrace Garden’s new memory care lifestyle offering vitality, inspiration and affirmation to those living with memory loss. It’s designed for those who need a safe, secure community and who can benefit from activity-focused, person-centered programming and care.
An Enriching Memory Care Lifestyle
Aspire Memory Care is more than care and comfort. Aspire Memory Care residents enjoy an enriching lifestyle with engaging programming that promotes socialization. Programming is focused on activities that residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia can do, which enhances self-esteem and creates an uplifting lifestyle filled with meaning and purpose.
Residents will enjoy private or companion suites located within our brand-new memory care community that is safe, secure – and feels just like home. Suites are identified by memory boxes filled with personal photos and mementos to help residents find their rooms. Suites feature wheelchair-accessible doorways and showers, safety grab rails and emergency pull cords which provide maximum safety, convenience, comfort and privacy.
Community highlights include a spacious activities room, a living room with a warm and inviting fireplace, a dining room with a kitchen where residents can cook and prepare food with the staff, as well as other gathering areas for family and friends to visit with loved ones.
A Skilled, Compassionate Team
The Aspire Memory Care staff understands the unique needs of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. We promote person-centered care by delivering individualized attention that addresses the needs, personal preferences and capabilities of each and every resident in our care.
“Our experience with the Memory Care unit at Elm Terrace Gardens has been very positive. I currently live in the Independent Living section and my wife has been in the Memory Care environment for about a year and a half. We are in the same building, just a floor apart. I have not driven in years and this environment allows me to visit her almost every day. The care she needs and gets is the best. Some of the tasks the staff has to do are not easy to do but, in our view they are done quickly and, of importance, are done in a supportive and upbeat manner. They have our appreciation.” – J. Murphy
